About Me

Hello, I'm Florentina (Tina) :).  Thank you for visiting!  I've been baking for four years as a way to calm my mind, and express myself creatively.   It began with cake decorating and buttercream flower piping and has evolved into pastries, breads, and more!  I enjoy conquering both the aesthetic challenge and chemistry challenge of a whimsically beautiful, subtly delicious bake.  I also love capturing the "meditative" moments of baking through videography and photography (you can check this work out on my YouTube channel and Instagram).

     I live with my dear husband, four children (eight if you count our four-legged kids) in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, USA.  I consider myself fortunate to have a whole staff of taste-testers who never fail to make me feel "like the best baker in the world" (the four-legged ones are admittedly less discerning).   As you can probably imagine, our home is loud and chaotic, so the quiet moments I get in the kitchen are precious to me and I'm so honored to get to share them with you here!
